Odyssey RP2 discovered...

I had been told that there may be an Odyssey RP2 arm available. And so it turned out.
The owner had it fitted to an original  Systemdek II, and it has been in an attic, under a pile of stuff, for a number of years, and suffered some damage.

The RP2 was only made in prototype quantities, and this arm is the only one in a silver finish

The support for the lifter and arm rest has been broken, and it and the lifter and bias assemblies are lost.
There has been quite a bit of deterioration of the finish, which was lacquer over satin polished aluminium alloy.

The arm had an adjustable block style headshell, and basic copper wiring. It was designed to be cheaply made but as it turned out not as cheaply as arms could be made elsewhere...

The AT30 cartridge that was still attached, was also damaged.

The owner had moved to CDs and also downsized his system.

I eventually refurbished the arm and deck:

I made a new arm rest and lifter platform and rewired it.
